Hi Ladies,
I know it's late notice but here is the talk that I am using for our RS lesson tomorrow. It's one of my all time favorite talks and it is about a subject that is near and dear to my heart: the atonement of Jesus Christ, more specifically, the enabling power of the atonement. This talk is amazingly practical and I promise that study and application of the principles in this talk will change your life.
It's called : In The Strength of the Lord by David A Bednar.
As an additional study (and this will also be assigned homework for after the lesson) Look up "grace" in the topical guide and look up the scriptures that contain the word "grace". When reading them, replace the word "grace" with "enabling and strengthening power of the atonement". Doing this, as E. Bednar says, will teach us so much about the enabling power of the atonement and how we can apply it in our lives to become more like our Savior and more fit for his kingdom.
