Purpose of this Blog

As relief society teachers we only have 35 minutes to expound on topics that could have volumes written on them.  This blog was created to make better use of our short time together, and to increase communication and understanding between teachers and those we teach.

This blog will be used as a reminder for reading assignments, and to provide material that if studied in advanced will enhance the learning experience in the Relief Society hour.  It will also provide a way for you to let us know what it is that you would like to hear about, and provide feedback in order to create more personal lessons. If you have questions that you may be hesitant to ask in front of others you can ask them here, anonymously. We will not post the majority of the comments and just use them as a way to get your feedback.

We will also be able to post quotes and links to material used in the lessons for later reference.

These lessons are for the benefit of the ward, and this may help us in our efforts to better serve you, and accomplish what is stated in D&C 50:21-22
"He that receiveth the word by the Spirit of truth receiveth it as it is preached by the Spirit of truth. Wherefore, he that preacheth and he that receiveth, understand one another, and both are edified and rejoice together."
